This Privacy Policy explains how [Deco Project Trading] (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Deco Work mobile application and related web services (including https://decoprojectme.com) (together, the “Service”).

Deco Work is a business productivity tool for authorized staff and contractors to manage jobs, site visits, material preparation, messaging, and related work activities.

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to users of Deco Work who have an account issued by their employer or organization (for example: administrators, coordinators, sales, supervisors, store keepers, staff, and workers).

2. Information we collect

Depending on your role and how you use the Service, we may collect:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, role/permissions, profile photo, and login credentials (passwords are stored in hashed form).
• Work and job data: job and site-visit details, schedules, addresses/map links, customer or company names and contact details entered for work purposes, remarks, status updates, and related records.
• Messages and media: office and job chat messages, including text, photos, videos, voice notes, documents/files, and shared contacts, when you send or receive them in the app.
• Device and technical data: device identifiers used for security (for example login lockout), IP address, app version, and basic diagnostic/log information needed to run and secure the Service.
• Push notification tokens: tokens needed to send notifications to your device (for example new messages or job alerts).
• Permissions-based data (only if you allow): camera (photos for chat/updates), microphone (voice messages), photo/media library, contacts (to share a contact in chat), and notifications.

We do not require access to your personal contacts, camera, or microphone for general browsing; those are used only for features you choose to use.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide and operate Deco Work (login, jobs, site visits, material preparation, messaging, schedules);
• Authenticate users and protect accounts (including rate limiting / login lockouts);
• Send push and in-app notifications related to work and chat;
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues;
• Meet operational and legal obligations of the business using the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal basis / workplace context

Deco Work is provided for business use. Processing is typically based on our legitimate interests in operating workplace tools, performance of a contract/employment relationship with your organization, and where required, compliance with applicable law. If you are an employee or contractor, your employer may also control how workplace data is used under their internal policies.

5. Sharing of information

We may share information with:

• Authorized users in your organization (for example managers, coordinators, or colleagues who need access for work);
• Service providers that help us host, deliver, or secure the Service (for example cloud hosting, push notification providers such as Google/Firebase or Expo-related services), under appropriate agreements;
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not share information with third parties for their independent marketing.

6. Data storage and security

Data is stored on our servers and related infrastructure used to run the Service. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information (for example encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and secure storage of authentication tokens on the device where applicable).

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please protect your login details and device.

We retain account and work data for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet business, operational, and legal requirements. When an account is deactivated or removed by an administrator, related access may be revoked; some records may be retained as required for business or legal purposes.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law and your organization’s policies, you may be able to:

• Access or update certain profile information in the app or via an administrator;
• Request correction or deletion of personal data (subject to legitimate business retention needs);
• Revoke device permissions (camera, microphone, contacts, notifications) in your phone settings;
• Sign out and request that your account be deactivated by your administrator.

9. Children’s privacy

Deco Work is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Depending on hosting and service providers, information may be processed in countries other than where you are located. We take steps appropriate to the Service to protect information in accordance with this policy.

11. Third-party services

The app may rely on third-party platforms for notifications, maps links you open, or app distribution (for example Google Play). Those services have their own privacy policies.
